This Tempranillo fruit was grown in the Sierra Foothills in northern California. Noted for its warm days and cool evening climate this area provides a perfect growing season for an early maturing wine grape. With forward red fruit flavors of plum, cherry and strawberry mixed with earthy minerality, tomato-sauce and vanilla, all are supported by medium tannin to form a pleasing balance.
